We observes ‘Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day’

The Hiroshima and Nagasaki Memorial Day was observed at our School, with its message of “Peace” to mark the tragedy of the fatal bombing in 1945. A special peace assembly was organised, wherein a minutes silence was observed for the people who lost their lives on this day.


Children also prepared and presented a speech, which covered the cause and effect of what happened on the day. It brought forth the great suffering endured Seventy –two years back in these two beautiful cities of Japan.


Students depicted different symbols/Slogans of Peace. The best messages / slogans were displayed on the ‘Peace Wall’. Eco Club members went for a Peace Walk showing Symbols of Peace and love in the neighboring highlighting the message to stop War and turmoil. Overall, it was a special effort taken by the students to advocate peace and emphasised the need to set up peace initiatives at school-level.
