As part of the Cleanliness Campaign “Swachh Bharat Mission” initiated by Government of India, we observed “Swachhta Week” from July 30 to August 3,2018  in a very unique way where all faculty, students, staff participated in various activities, to inculcate the habit of keeping our surroundings clean.


The week long activities, started on Monday with emphasis on Personal Hygiene wherein students from classes VI to X prepared PPT’s, held discussions, prepared paper presentations and Role plays to drive home the point that personal cleanliness is essential for good health and vitality.


This was followed by the theme on Environmental Cleanliness on Tuesday, where students prepared Posters, held Demonstrations on Rain Water Harvesting, PPT’s on avoiding use of plastic bags and keeping our environment safe.


Following the above theme was the one that focussed on Tidiness of Belongings where children were guided on ways and means to keep their Bags, Sub-files, classrooms clean.


Thursday was dedicated to the Purity of Words and Thoughts. Children from Class VI made cards for their Grand Parents, where as those from Classes VII to X prepared PPT’s and Collages on ‘Being Polite’, showing Positive Attitude and Conflict Resolution.


The week ended on Friday with a Poster Making Competition for Classes VI to VIII and an Extempore Competition for Classes IX and X.


Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs. Anu Kumar talked about the need to spread the message and that all children should act as good citizens and work towards the betterment of our country.
