Stepping Stones Senior Secondary School Welcomes You

The Promoters/Initiators

Stepping Stones Education Society, a government-registered organisation, was set up in April 1984 and dedicated to providing children with an environment rich with opportunities for their mental, social, physical, and emotional growth.

Our First Step and After

Stepping Stones School aspires to stand out among the best schools in the region. A humble beginning was made in Chandigarh when a preparatory school was opened in April 1984. The strength of the students was only 14. But this was just the beginning. Word spread. The dedication, the modern methods of teaching, and the sustained efforts to help the child realise his full potential paid off. Stepping Stones School in Chandigarh quickly established itself as a premier educational institution. Today, we have two branches, one in Sec. 38-A and the other in 37-D, with a total of more than 2300 students. The school is recognised by the Chandigarh administration and is affiliated with CBSE.

We have an individualised academic programme in which children progress through a curriculum of concepts and skills at their own pace. We utilise a variety of instructional techniques and methods, including skill development curriculum implemented through the ATAL Tinkering Lab, Robotics, Science and Math labs, etc. We have been leaders in establishing cutting-edge ICT technology, whether for assessment preparation and correction or the use of teaching aids such as 3D Labs, smart boards, and associated software.

Stepping Stones believes in a sound mind in a sound body. The school is well equipped with physical infrastructure for various outdoor games such as basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, and roller skating. Students are also encouraged to play indoor games like table tennis, table soccer, scrabble, and other board games.

We encourage

  • Excellence in academics.
  • Self-Discipline.
  • All-round development by involving students in various co-curricular activities
  • Inculcation of moral values.

Open-door policy. i.e., parents and students are always welcome with their suggestions and problems.
